Sweet Sour Spicy Pineapple Chutney (relish) – By Vahchef @ vahrehvah.com

In another quickie session let’s learn how
to make this awesome pineapple chutney called Anna rase chutney, when the oil is hot add some mustard seeds when the mustard seeds splutter, add bay leaf, chopped ginger and also add chili flakes and then add pineapple you know this way the red
chili flakes won’t get burnt they roast the red chillies and make into a powder but here I’m adding red chili flakes that gives a better lift to this chutney as well as
better taste after you add pineapple add raisins and sugar, sugar you know for one
cup of pineapple, add 3 tbsp of sugar and in this add some water half a cup of water
add pinch of salt and to flavor it add pinch of cumin seed powder this is optional I love to add cumin some people add fennel seeds it’s up to you which ever flavor you like
you can add and let this simmer for around 10 minutes by the time this you know moisture will evaporate and thicken and also the pineapples will be soft and look at this wow you know this is all ready relish like pineapple
chutney make it part of a meal or after meal as a refreshing and also you can
put on a crackeror chips and eat it dear friends very simple very tasty make sure the
pineapple pieces are little small otherwise it may take more time to cook
if you add sugar i hope you enjoyed another quickie session with your VahChef happy cooking mhm ok

Why no vinegar? I thought vinegar was required or else the chutney will spoil

Too much sugar. No good adding a suger. Instead you can use shaker. Shaker is healthy like a eating jagrey or gurr from punjab. Happy visakhi.
