My screencast tip on using Picasa Web Albums, I’m going to
show you how to set a location for a picture. First go into your photo album that you’ve already created. {pause} And next select the picture that you want to set a location to.
This is a picture of one of my boys at Hurricane Harbor. What you do is go over to the
photo location and you click add location. Now you need to search for the location, if
you have the exact address that works or you can just try typing the name of the place, in
this case I’m going to do Hurricane Harbor, in California. And as you see it pulls up a location. Hurricane Harbor’s out in the middle of nowhere so you don’t
see many streets around because it’s an amusement park. And you can zoom out to verify that it’s
the exact area that you’re looking for. And then once the area’s selected, press save location. Then you’ll notice that it displays a picture of the
area where this picture was taken. And you can still zoom out or zoom in as you like, over there. And if you go back to your main page, as
you notice here all the locations have indicators. And if you zoom in you’ll see Hurricane
Harbor is now one of the locations. And so that’s how you add a location to
one of your pictures in Picasa Web Albums.
