Pineapple Zarda Pulao – By Vahchef @

hello namaste salaamwalekum satsriyakaal; welcome back to another session with your VahChef at Today
i’m going to make another sweet preparation using rice and this is one awesome Mughlai Nawabi cooking and it will be fantastic Let’s go ahead and learn how to make Ananas ka Muzaffar. For this take some ghee in a pan and we’re going to cook the
pineapple ah ah ah, I don’t want to waste even a drop of ghee in here and in this add
pineapple cut into small pieces now after you saute this small cut pieces of
pineapple in ghee, add some water and put a lid and let it cook for 3 minutes so
that this pineapple become slightly tender after which we are going to add
some sugar and flavor it . Look at this all the moisture is already evaporated, in
this add sugar just one cup of sugar should be good if needed you can add
some more water and we’re gonna cook this on a slow flame now we’re going to
add this with the rice ok let the sugar melt and let this
simmer and i’m going to show you how to cook the rice. Ok now to cook the rice you
know if you take one cup of rice add one and a half cup of water, in this add some
ghee 1 teaspoon of ghee, add some saffron that is soaked in milk and add to this
now once this nice saffron water comes to a boil, in this add the rice that has
been soaked for at least 30 minutes; now once this is boiling add 2 teaspoons
of salt I almost thought I was making biryani
this is a sweet we are cooking so just add pinch, for any sweet little bit of
saltiness will always enhance it so just a pinch if anybody heard the before thing added 2 teaspoons god bless you ah! I almost burnt my face trying to get the nice saffron basmati flavor now look at this the rice
is almost absorbed most of the water now we’re going to add the sugar syrup
and the pineapples which are getting cooked together and add to this haha and now we’re gonna mix this slowly wow this is going to sweeten this good
god, this is going to be flavored with already awesome pineapple flavor but
we’re going to add some cardamom powder in this add slice of pistachiao actually these are halves, add almond I like to add lot of nuts, in this add koya this is optional ok because this rice will look beautiful shining but by adding a little
bit of this koya it will enhance the flavor awesome and now you know you can see
that there is a lot of moisture put the lid on and cook it on a very slow flame
for another 2 – 3 minutes and switch off the flame now after slow-cooking hahaha and look at this rice even though cooked with sugar this rice is still nice and perfect wow you know look at
this rice you know these kind of rice sweet preparations are very popular in Mughlai regions whether from Lucknow are in Hyderabad where ever you go they make various kinds of nice sweet pulaos. Dear friends look at this wow made with pineapple super awesome you know i made this fantastic Ananas ka Muzaffar and I’ve got my cousin who’s come here from Philli and why don’t you please um wow awesome Sanjay this is awesome really good never tasted this before
this is you know surprisingly lot of people they don’t know about this
pineapple sweetened rice but this is very flavorful and fantastic. Dear friends what do you think I think everybody
