Oats Melting Moments – By Vahchef @ vahrehvah.com

hello namaste salaamwalekum satsriyakaal; welcome back to another session with your VahChef at Vahrehvah.com. Today I want to use
oats and make cookies so let’s learn how to make oat cookies. For this take hundred grams of butter in this add powdered sugar and then
powdered sugar how much 75 grams of powdered sugar and then mix this to a
nice creamy consistency, in this add half an egg ok just whisk one whole egg and add just half of it and then just mix it to a nice creamy consistency, see the best way to add egg is to just add teaspoon by teaspoon that way it will become nicely
emulsified now look at this; this is all good the egg and this butter, sugar is all
mixed up, in this you can add almond essence, vanilla essence but i’m adding little of almond essence mix this wow, now this mixture is all ready. Add 150 grams of flour and then mix this to a nice soft dough
consistency look at this, this is become like a
nice soft. Now we’re going to divide them into small roundels. Now take this cookie dough make them into roundels and roll them in the oats. This pressed oats is pretty good for making these cookies, after rolling them just put it on a baking tray and just
take the cherries cut them into half size and then just press it a little
bit the cookies will become slightly flatter
when they’re big and they will look fantastic when they’re done you know by now you almost have got the temperature in your head 180 degree centigrade for 15 minutes. When they are done they look super awesome literally going to melt and look at this nicely crack that comes on top haaa Dear friends, mm Wow you know inside so light fluffy and fantastic huh dear friends i hope you enjoyed learning how to make this fantastic oats cookies with your VahChef but do not forget vahrehvah is all about inspiring others to cook so please post your recipes and cooking tips at vahrehvah.com so others can benefit from your great
cooking thank you

It turned out to be a utter flop. the batter became very soft could not even mould balls despite using the right proportionate of the ingredients……Wat might be the prob…..however i added little custard powder to make the batter thick ( no enough flour available)

I've been making these cookies every week and they always turn out delicious, I'd say irresistible, just the right texture and taste and everything. I tried a few variants to use stuff I had at hand: granulated sugar instead of powder, a tsp of jam instead of half a cherry. Doubled the doses and made about 30. Thanks chef, love you!
