Making Magic Wands – How to make simple one piece wooden wizard wands

So here’s some scrap wood Let’s take a look at what might be good for little hands and making a little wand Just looking at the grain pattern trying to figure out if I can get the grain to match the shape if I’m smart, I can cut them out to leave some wood for the next time. I should probably consider placing multiple wands on each piece of wood. Using one piece to make 2 wands I could also use spray glue to attach the patterns but then I can’t reuse the pattern

What kind of tool is that at 3:45? It's like a cross between a Dremel and a dentist's drill.

    hi there.
first of all, fantastic work !
So much I probably am gonna try this myself if I can, it would do a nice Christmas gift for a certain someone I know is fan of those (or myself^^). Problem is, I have next to nothing to start except the wood and patience to learn through trial, and certainly not the budget to spent on any those power-tools (would not be wise if it is for a one time thing).
Would you (or any one here) have some tips or cheaper hand-tools to achieve such results ? knifes ? Chisels ? anything is welcome.
    Anyway, good continuation !

From my understanding the Celtic Druids would make wands out of the Wood from a Holly Tree. Wands made out of Holly Wood. So, today we get Magic coming from "Hollywood"
