Adding artwork to a vector clothing template in illustrator

Adding artwork to a vector clothing template in illustrator

Adding in artwork is super simple
there’s two options we have the old copy and paste method or we have illustrators place option so for the copy and paste method we will open up some artwork we’ve got this one set up all ready and we will just select that, control C, flick back to our template file, control V and we will add that in And we will resize that just to make it fit on our template here. And the second method is the Place method, so if you go to file, down to place, and then find the artwork that you want to add in now we’ve got the same artwork set up as a PNG file with a transparent background and we’re going to hit the place, and then click where we want that and then again resize that just to fit on the back template here and we will actually make it a little bit bigger than the front print I think just because mainly back prints are usually just a little bit bigger and there we go that’s adding artwork into a T-shirt template
